WARNING! Carry on reading! Or you will die, even if you only looked at the word warning! Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More-government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died. Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on a Monday night at 12:00 a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other pictures on this one site, and she will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently, if you copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes you will have the best day of your life tomorrow. You will either get kissed or asked out, if you break this chain u will see a little dead girl in you
Hmmm.... check to see if you don't have any actions applied to it accidentally by pressing F9 with that selected. If it's clear, make sure that the entire pokeball is highlighted by double-clicking on it (it should have white dots on it). After that you should be able to right-click and convert it to a button.
Other than that, I'm not sure why it's doing that. :\
hey, I am trying out the buttons and music making a small webcomic with images
My buttons work just fine, but the music won't play at the beggining. Any ideas as to why or what I need to listen to music from the beggining, and click on the button and see the next frame hearing the same song?
Idk if you understood, but for example. lets just say you are listening to music apart and you are checking various photos. What I want is to be able to check all the photos without altering the music's play
As long as you place teh music on the stage and not attatch it to a button, it should play through without it altering it-- here's the catch:
If you do that and the viewer hits the back button, if the frame the button takes them to has the music on it, it will start playing it again, but overtop of the already-playing song. So what you'd need to do is make sure the code takes the viewer to a frame with the image on it, but not the sound. Here's a picture to help explain it:
Lets see... I made a layer for music (maybe thats a mistake) I added Play(); while in other layer for the buttons and Images I use stop(); (which might be another reason) so you can "read" the story and then click next whenever you like. I took out the stop(); of each frame and found out the music plays just fine.... But the images run and play as a normal animation rendering rather useless the next button. I think I might be able to use a movieclip.... but if you just read what my mistake is, do tell
Well you shouldn't need the play action, since it'll auto play unless/until specified, so having the stop actions on the layer (and not on the button) should work. After that, just either stay in the same scene and add the next page after the stop action and have a stop action on the frame for the next page with buttons that have the On release go to and play "frame name" or add new scenes for each page.
