I think it'd be a good resource to point the duality community at, since there's always a fair chunk of competitors in OCT's that are interested in the comic business. Using comic specific fonts (and following some of the lettering traditions) can help save space and stuff too, which seems to be a common problem for people when they get to their dialogue.
But the last one, Speech Bubbles, is nice looking.
By the way, the fact that so many people dislike Comic Sans is a chain effect. Most of these people don't know a thing about type design and couldn't justifiably judge its design. I think most people have heard someone else say it's bad, and if so many people have something negative to say about the design, it must be bad. People get influenced like that unconsciously. It's herd mentality, and in this case I think it requires genuine knowledge about type design to overcome that.
